This course presents the treatment of the edentulous patient using guided surgical techniques.  Advanced techniques, including All-on-4™ and Zygoma implants are discussed.

Objectives

  1. Understand the uses of NobelGuide™ planning software for treatment planning, creating surgical templates, and immediate load prostheses.
  2. Understand the advantages of planning software for the All-on-4™ technique.
  3. Differentiate between Osseointegration through distance osteogenesis and contact osteogenesis.
  4. Understand the recommended use of the zygoma implant.
  5. Understand options for treatment of the maxillofacial defect patient.
