Sonia Leziy received her dental degree from McGill University and post-graduate degree in periodontics from the University of British Columbia, Canada. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral implantologists and a member of the Canadian Academy of Periodontists and the American Academy of Periodontists. She is an associate clinical professor and sessional lecturer at the University of British Columbia and co-mentors a highly successful section of the Seattle Study Club (VIP study club). Dr. Leziy is a member of the Nobel Biocare Corporate advisory board, the Journal Spectrum Dialogue and the Journal Teamwork: the insiders’ guide to quality dentistry. She lectures widely nationally and internationally and has published extensively on the subjects of implant aesthetics and on related surgical and restorative techniques. She has contributed along with 15 worldwide authorities to a detailed comprehensive treatment planning textbook edited by Dr. Michael Cohen and published by Quintessence. She was recognized as one of the top 100 clinicians in continuing education in 2007 and in 2008 by Dentistry Today. She maintains a private practice in the Imperio Group in North Vancouver, British Columbia with Dr Brahm Miller, prosthodontist and fellow periodontist Dr Priscilla Walsh, specializing in periodontics and implant surgery.
